As a member of the Catalog Content Team, you will join a team of analysts who serve as the primary technical point of contact for enhanced data for our catalog. The mandate of the team is to continuously increase the content, quality, and accuracy of Foodrunner’s catalog to enable a world-class experience across all partners. The team’s core responsibilities are to drive data quality and regulatory compliance initiatives, manage relationships with third party vendors, partner with the CPG team to support brands that advertise on Foodrunner from a catalog perspective, and leverage catalog data to execute on merchandising initiatives.The ideal candidate is sharp, thoughtful, and a collaborative problem solver. They have a strong technical and analytical background, as well as the desire to make a significant business impact by owning and driving content curation and sourcing strategies to enable major business objectives. Strength in communication and process are critical.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Own specialized work streams for our enhanced catalog data. Success will mean becoming the recognized subject matter expert in your area of responsibility

  • Work with external partners to ensure content coverage and data quality
  •  
  • Source quality content by contracting third party providers or through curation
  •  
  • Lead data quality workstreams. Work will include identifying use cases, quantifying the impact, working with Product and Engineering to develop fixes, and reviewing the work of other team members 
  •  
  • Review/validate data from external partners to ensure data accuracy standards are met
  •  
  • Define and build tools/processes to improve content capture and validation
  •  
  • Work on cross-functional projects with our Engineering, Business Development, Product, and Catalog Operations teams
  •  
  • Become an expert on Foodrunner’s content systems and act as a resource for other team members across the company in the diagnosis, planning, and execution of content catalog projects
  •  
  • Lead the technical on-boarding of the content to our catalog

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree
  •  
  • 2+ years experience working in e-commerce, data quality, data analytics, site merchandising, or a similar area at a consumer technology company
  •  
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in SQL
  •  
  • Desire to go deep into metrics and explore new ideas
  •  
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  •  
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members at every level
  •  
  • Strong passion for creating great user experiences
  •  
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape
  •  
  • Good to have: Experience working with third party vendors
  •  
  • Experience in e-commerce merchandising or digital product content sourcing is a plus
